Premise

No Restraint is a Bondage Kink game loosely based on the popular Murder Game format of Danganrompa/Town of Salem. As the game progresses, rather than players being 'murdered' they will instead be eliminated from winning the game by having all of their "Restraint" stolen, leaving them uninhibited, listless and submissive. This is done by subjecting them to Bondage.

A quick note on Smut: there will probably be a lot of it in this game, and the premise lends itself towards the dubious/non-consensual variety. Players are under no obligation to RP or even read smut/noncon threads (and we'll be encouraging players to make thorough use of tags/cut), but if it's not your bag, this may not be the game for you.

The last one with any sense of Restraint left at the end is the winner, although who knows? Other ways of winning might pop-up along the way...

As a last note, we'll be playing a lot more casually than many other murder games, because I suspect people will have a lot more fun being able to read other people's bondage shenanigans than trying to puzzle out whodunnit.


Setting

A Cabal of Very Powerful Individuals have brought you to a remote mansion in order to play a salacious game.

There's no lack of space or amenities. In fact, the place is so huge its easy to get lost.

Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner are served in the dining room every day, and one or more of your Hosts are usually in attendance.

There's also a library, kitchen, gaming room, and no shortage of bedrooms. There's also Playrooms everywhere, of every shape and color you can imagine, stocked with just about any kind of tool you'd ever think of needing. They're all thoroughly soundproofed and they all lock.



Restraint Mechanics

All players start with a pendant around their neck on an unbreakable chain that's juuuust too tight to slip off. This pendant starts to fill with a characters' Restraint when they are put under the Stress of any kind of bondage or restraint. Just being locked in a room with no way out is enough to start the process of draining Restraint into your pendant, although it'll take the better part of a day for all of it to drain into your pendant that way. Would-be kidnappers who don't want to get caught should use a bit more creativity and inventiveness if they want their victim's pendant to fill up before someone stumbles onto them.

When a pendant is full, all you have to do is touch your own pendant to the full pendant in order to transfer all of the Restraint from the victim's pendant to your own. This is a traumatic process for the victim, as large chunks of their personality and memories may go with it. This is fortunate for Kidnappers since it makes it harder for victims to identify them after the fact.

A pendant can only fill with half of someone's maximum restraint at a time, which means that each character can be a victim twice before they are eliminated. A pendant becomes discolored after it's been drained once, and it breaks after it's been drained a second time. Pendants holding an extra charge have a distinctive glow, but it can be hidden with anything including clothing.

Once a character has had their Restraint drained twice, they've been Eliminated. They no longer have the drive or even capability to steal Restraint from other players. They are entirely submissive and uninhibited, anxious to do whatever is told of them, with no shame or hesitation. Players are free to rp with any characters they wish, but their role should be secondary to the remaining players.


Offerings and Consequences

So what are you supposed to do with that extra Restraint you just stole? Take it to a shrine! You have four choices, which god do you want to present it to? Your choices may have impacts down the line.

If a day goes by without an offering, there's a problem. It doesn't matter how it gets done; take a vote if you want, but if there isn't an offering of Restraint to one of those alters by midnight, well. The Gods aren't afraid of taking things into their own hands.


Phases

The time frame of No Restraint is 1 Game Day = 1 Real Life Week. Characters are free to converse amongst each other as much as they like, but their story actions are limited.

For each Game Day, players will submit screened actions each for Day and Night. This is when you Search for Clues, Explore a New Area, Look for Missing People, or go Tie Up A Victim. That's not an exhaustive list. If two or more people's actions or areas overlap, fun things can happen!

We encourage players to thread out fun and kinky encounters; we'll even provide spaces to let the attacker reply anonymously to keep the suspense.
